Student-Teacher-Family Conferences
Dear Sorrento Parents/Guardians,
Teacher-Student-Family Conferences play an important role in communicating student strengths and stretches and establishing learning goals. This year, our in-person Student-Teacher-Family conferences will take place on Monday, Oct. 26 at all Elementary Schools in SD83. Students will not be in regular attendance that day except during their scheduled conference time. Some teachers may offer appointments times on other days as well. Your student will attend their conference with you 😊.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
· Conferences will be 15 minutes in length for each student and will be held in your child’s classroom with one family at a time. You may wait outside your child’s classroom for your conference. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early so that we can keep everyone’s appointments on time. Note that we can offer one conference per child on this day. While we recognize that sometimes children live in more than one home, we ask guardians/parents to work together, so that student goals are understood by all. Note that we will host another student-led conference in the spring.
· If you are unable to make a time work on Oct. 26, please work together with your child’s teacher to figure out an alternate time

NOTE: Please select the correct teacher; and include your child’s name in the booking information.
· Please book as soon as possible to get a preferred time. Simply select your child’s teacher’s name, select the timeslot you wish, and your name, your child’s name and contact info.
· If you need assistance, please contact the classroom teacher or our school office and we can help you book the time,
